Shareholders at the general meetings for both Akzo Nobel and Axalta have voted in favor of all resolutions related to the proposed all-share merger with Axalta Coating Systems Ltd. Next, Masco Corporation reported its second quarter 2026 results with net sales reaching $1,992 million. PPG has appointed Justin Epler vice president, Industrial Coatings (IC) Americas. Also, Univar Solutions acquired H.M. Royal, a 101-year-old specialty distributor of rubber, plastics, and adhesive additives. Lastly, PPG celebrated the unveiling of Stella Juva, believed to be the world’s first solar-powered ambulance, developed by Solar Team Eindhoven, a student organization from Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands.
